Robert Pantry has a distinguished career in the financial services industry. At the age of 34, he became the youngest person to serve as Managing Director of a major financial institution in The Bahamas, RBC FINCO, a publicly traded commercial bank with over $1 billion in assets. By age 37, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of RBC Cayman Ltd., making him one of the youngest directors in the institution’s history.


Before co-founding Simplified Lending at the age of 39, Robert held regional leadership roles at two international financial institutions, overseeing operations in The Bahamas, Cayman, Turks and Caicos, and the British Virgin Islands. He was the first to ever hold the position of VP of Business Development for the Northern Caribbean at RBC and later served as Director of Retail Banking and Small Business for Scotiabank Northern Caribbean, overseeing a staff of over 300 employees across The Bahamas, Cayman, Turks & Caicos, and the British Virgin Islands.


He has an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Management and an Associate Degree in Accounting. Additionally, he holds a World Class Manager designation. Robert was also the youngest recipient of the Minister's Award for Excellence in the Financial Services Industry in The Bahamas, earning the accolade at just 25 years old.


Born and raised in Bain and Grants Town (Over-The-Hill), Robert remains committed to inner-city youth development and community empowerment. He has three children Rache, Raegan, and Robert Jr. and enjoys boating, golfing, and reading.
